5 Days
We are getting ready for our trip to New York. It's hard to believe we leave in just 5 days. We bought the tickets so long ago that it seemed as if this day would never come.
Wednesday night we experienced our first crank callers from Aaron's students. At 1 am Wednesday our phone rang, by the time Aaron and I had figured out was going on and what the noise was we missed the call and we were left a strange message on our answering machine. 15 minutes later and just as we we were falling asleep the phone rang again, this time Aaron answered and let's just say Aaron and the caller exchanged some unpleasantries. I decided it was best to turn the ringers off and the answering machine. I pushed the wrong button on the answering machine so 10 minutes later we heard a voice on the answering machine leaving some unplesantries for Aaron. So if that wasn't enough to ruin our sleep, Conner decided to wake up at 4 am which he never does. Aaron stayed up with him and when I woke up around 6:30 to get ready for work, I found the two of them sound asleep on the living room floor. After a sleepless night, Aaron spoke with the phone company and they have traced the phone number and Aaron filed charges with the Garland Police Department - if you have 3 or more harassing phone calls you can file charges. So the police are working with the phone company to find the callers. The callers called one more time on Wednesday and Aaron told them he had filed charges. Since then we haven't heard from them. We talked about cancelling our home phone service and it will be disconnected at the end of the month.
We drop Biscuit off with my Aunt Glenda on Saturday. She is going to dog sit or "spoil" him for us for a couple weeks while we are out of town. Sunday we plan on going to Aimee's to see Aaron's dad as we did not get together for Fathers Day.
Then we have a couple of days to pack and get ready for our early morning departure on Wednesday.

Hats and Glasses
We had a great trip to Corpus Christi for Memorial Day. Conner didn't care too much for the ocean when we first got to the beach but by the time we were ready to leave he was having a ton of fun. We didn't take our camera but Grandpa Wilson snapped some good pictures. Conner and I have battled being sick since we got home. I had bronchitis and then Conner had another ear infection. He is still getting over it but it does not slow him down one bit. We had a quiet weekend at home this weekend and got some stuff done around the house. Aaron's last day of school was Thursday so now he is fulltime stay at home Dad. Conner and Dad have lots of plans this summer including; story time at the library, swimming in Conner's new pool and some small projects around the house. Conner loves hats and will try and put as many on as he can. He also loves his sunglasses and my head bands. I think he likes anything he can put on his head. Here are few pictures we snapped this weekend of him dressing up.
