It's all about the Hair!
This weekend Conner had his first haircut. After much debate between Aaron and I, we decided to take him to the barber that Aaron has been using since we moved to Garland three years ago. Aaron's barber is a friend of his from High School. Conner did really well and was very still until the end when he got tired of sitting in one place. And speaking of hair - the same day Conner had his cut we recieved a picture in the mail from Aaron's Uncle Don and Aunt Eunice. How about that mullet!

Happy Easter
Friday we went to Denton for the annual Wilson Easter Egg Hunt. The weather was great and Conner had a lot of fun running around the park. He didn't really understand the easter egg hunt concept but was very happy just playing with the eggs. He is starting to show more and more of his personality. He is very independent and likes to try things with out help. When he decides he needs help he will let you know. This weekend he started sitting in his rocking chair that Grandpa Wilson made for him when he was a little baby.

What's Up with That?
We had one of those weekends that it seemed everything went wrong. It started Saturday after we had lunch and Aaron's tire was low on air. We decided to let Sam's plug the tire since we were right by there and needed to pick up a few things anyway. We did our shopping at Sam's, headed to Walmart next door and did our shopping there to find out that Aaron's tire could not be plugged and he needed a new one. This whole process took three hours and I would not recommend using their service. The tires are way over priced and passed on purchasing from the, so Aaron still needs to get to a Discount Tire for a couple new ones. Before we left the house Saturday I did a load of laundry which included a very clean cell phone for Aaron. Luckily we had an old phone and activitated that for Aaron to use until we are eligible for an upgrade with Verizon. If that wasn't enough, our washing machine has been leaking for a while but turned torential on Sunday and we discovered the problem is in our wall. We are going to have to pull the dry wall out and figure out where the leak is. Aaron's good friend Perry, who is an excellent repair man is going to come over and help us out tonight. In the meantime I have to track to the Laundry Mat this evening to wash our clothes. What is up with all the breaks? We had planned on going to pick out Aaron's tux for the Gala but with everything else will try again this weekend. Despite the hurdles this weekend we enjoyed hanging out with Conner and the weather was gorgeous yesterday.

Crazy, Crazy Weather
We were scheduled to have the Grand Opening of Wendy's Wing today at my office and can you believe we had to cancel the event because of rain, sleet and snow. The weather this week has been absolutely crazy. My aunt who lives in Denton, called this afternoon and told me she had about 4 inches of snow in her yard and it was still coming down. So far we have not recieved snow at our house in Garland but expect to see a few flakes in the next couple of hours.

Eddie VanHalen Goes to Rehab
We enjoyed a wonderful visit with our good friends Sophia and Rene this weekend. They traveled from New York to Dallas for Rene's brothers wedding. They stayed with us for four nights and we had a lot of fun catching up. Saturday, Sophia's family hosted a baby shower for her at Papasitos. She recieved some awesome gifts and it made for quite a challenge to pack for the trip home.
Sophia is due at the end of May and one of my other close friends from college, Anna, is due just two weeks earlier. Aaron and I have talked about going to New York to visit since they moved there and since they will have babies this summer we decided to go ahead and buy tickets to visit at the end of June. We are super excited and can't wait!
Conner and I did some hanging out on Sunday. He was sick last week with a cold and now has another ear infection. It doesn't slow him down one bit.
